Having been pregnant twice I understand changes the body endure before, during and after birth.  Massage provides much needed relaxation, pain relief, and recovery necessary to more throughly be present for the joys and challenges of motherhood.  Babies benefit from gentle bodywork to aid with digestion, improve sleep and bonding with parents and siblings.  Children learn to connect mindfully within their bodies and to regulate emotions through calming touch. As we grow throughout our lives and into old age our health is maintained through the continued self care and nurturance massage provides to self and others.

Through the art of photography I aim to capture the essence of the abundant beauty of mother and family. I hope to help moms see their inner radiance and to help them accept and love their changing bodies. Growing bellies, tiny toes, an older child's embrace and sweet heart kisses are a few of the tender moments to cherish forever in print.

I recognize the importance of balance between parent and child by providing the space for families to gain confidence in their ability to attend intuitively to everyone's needs. As a postpartum doula my aim is to be an encouraging source of comfort and to lessen possible anxiety allowing individual parenting styles to proceed naturally.  First time parents as well as larger families will also benefit from having an extra nurturer present.

My intentions are to inspire a supported and satisfying transitional period of growing and welcoming a new baby while honoring the nourishing, rest and recovery moms need to move more fully into their new or expanding role.  My role is to empower mothers to advocate for their health and happiness while providing one on one support during a special and demanding time.
